Appetite

I love it

when your lips

red from want

and

filled with fire

whisper

I should

spread your hips

close my eyes,

dig in deep

and surrender

to

your desire

G E E . . .

So really

is this it?

Is it time

for all of this

carefully

concealed

chemistry

to end?

What will happen

to the days

when this was

a safe haven

a wonderful place

where I was able

to let my emotions

flow on timeless paper

Where all of us

could mend …

I N T H E E N D

It’s not your strength

she said

or the way

you strive

to always save the world

Or how you make me

feel that I’m the center

of your charms

Not even -though I don’t mind

how you make me shiver

frequently

when you kiss me

along my spine

It’s much more essential now

like

how you make me smile

and feel at ease

safely

in your embracing arms

D-fence

Day by day

gently but firm

just like a rivers flow

His poetry

feeds the senses

behind her

well built armor

Makes the heart

grow fonder

Let’s her passion

for life glow

Darling

what I like

about you

most

and

I don’t want

to make this

sound absolute

Is that

besides

you

being smart,

feminine

and blasphemous

sexy

You still

know

how to be

witty,

playful

and

endearingly

cute

K A R A – T E

Don’t

misjudge

my humanity

for weakness

For I am

stronger,

and tougher

than life

But I refuse

to submit

to this world’s

indifference

And simply choose

To not turn

the other cheek

but offer

a friendly

open hand

Never the brutal fist

or even worse

the knife

R A V I S H I N G

She sits there

sipping her white wine

smiling

in her natural way

As time

and people

close and distant

pass by

They all know her

but few care enough

to notice

the tiny cracks

and bruises

that sometimes defy

her otherwise

perfected manners

but they intrigue me

those little imperfections

in her appearance

define her true self

and inner beauty

I smile and am thankful

this lady

I am going to meet

in a few seconds from now

She

is so much more

than

what meets the eye
